Subject Notes Two men with towels as aprons stand in a garden with woman in a 'pinny' or apron. The woman is holding a rolling pin (for rolling dough) and a potato masher. Behind them is an arch made by two trees.

The men are soldiers convalescing from injuries received during the First World War. They have been assisting the cook, and are in the grounds of Wallside House, when it was in use as a convalescent home for soldiers during the War.
