Papers relating to the following subjects which belonged to James Potter (Wood Merchant): ground and house lying on the east of the village of Bainsford fronting St. David's Lane, part of lands of Wester Seamores and wood yard garden and orchard (previously known as the Coalfauld) at Grahamston. Includes inventory of writs and Title deeds, sketch of feus at St. Davids Lane and legal papers relating to charge of horn and poinding after bond of caution by James Potter and John Malcolm in favour of Edward Taylor granting their subjects as sureties that Edward Taylor would pay off a debt he owed to Alexander Bartholemew.
