Description
Black open weave suit. No.1 the short jacket has a stand and fall collar with short lapels. There are three buttons down the centre front. There is a shaping seam from shoulder to waist on front panels. The waist has a separate piece of the same fabric sewn all round to look like a belt. There are two small buttons stitched onto each side seam at the hem where there is a small ent. The back panel has two shaping seams from shoulder to waist. The sleeves are long and straight. The jacket is fully lined with black synthetic fabric. the label reads DERETA REGD, LONDON, MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. No.2 skirt is straight and narrow waistband four front and back darts. the centre back seam ends in open vent. The skirt fastens on left side seam with a metal zip and two pairs of hooks and eyes. The skirt is lined in the seat area only. Label reads DERETA 14 LONDON. The suit is in the style made popular by Jackie Kennedy.
