Description
Cream dress in raw silk style. The bodice is cut in one with the sleeves kimono style. The neckline is V shaped with the right front panel layered over the left. There is a bust dart and a waist dart on the front panels and a waist dart on the back panels. The skirt is straight sewn to the waist with two tucks on the front and two darts on the back. The waistband belt is stitched to the waist seam and is pleated into four small tucks along its length. The sleeves are narrow and three-quarter length. The dress fastens at the centre back with a zip from neck to hip, there is a hook and eye at the neck. Dress was made at home for a wedding from pattern 1996-052-154 and worn with coat, shoes, handbag 1996-052-099-002-003-004.
