Description
Simplicity paper pattern 8464. The envelope front shows two illustrations of models wearing the pattern, which is a coat, with different designs. Both are in colour. Left side of envelope reads SIMPLICITY PATTERN, DESIGNED IN NEW YORK, MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. The pattern number, size, measurements and price are in top left corner. The envelope has been stamped by the retailer stating that the pattern cannot be exchanged. Only partially readable. The envelope back gives back views of the pattern and drawings of the pattern pieces. It also gives fabric requirements, measurements and notations. The bottom right corner reads PRINTED IN ENGLAND. The pattern pieces and instruction leaflet are complete. Used to make coat 1996-052-020-001, although it was altered to suit the wearer.
