Description
Black taffeta evening dress made possibly of silk. The dress is sleeveless and has a c/f ribbon which forms a halter neck. The bodice neckline forms a slight V shape. It has four rows of black ribbon running around it from the neckline over the bust area meeting at the c/f.The bodice is very fitted and is boned at the c/b side seams and bust panels. The skirt is gathered onto the bodice waist. It is very full made in four tiers each gathered onto the one before, each seam had a ribbon running around it. The skirt is full length. There is a stretched full four gored white petticoat underneath the skirt stitched onto the bodice waistband. The hem edge is trimmed with white lace. The dress fastens at the c/b with a metal zip from the neckline to the hip.
