Description
Black synthetic satin dress. The dress has a high straight front neckline and a deep V shape on the back panels. The dress fastens with a zip from the back neckline at mid back to the hip. The bodice front panels has two bust darts and two shapeup seams The sleeves are Kimono style narrow and three quarter length. The skirt is stitched to the bodice at the waist. It has six gores and is very full. The skirt is mid calf length. The dress has been made at home by the donor. It dates from the early to mid 1950's.
