Description
Pale pink crepe dress and jacket. The dress has a narrow V shaped neckline with a keyhole opening at the c/f topstitched. There are two panels of layered pleated decoration from each shoulder down the front to the waist. There are two waist shaping seams on the dress joint. The dress skirt is flared. The sleeves are long narrow and set in with three tucks on the inner elbow. There are three buttons and button loops on the wrist. The dress has two waist belt loops. The jacket has a round neck. it is open down the c/f and the front neck edge is stitched back. The jacket has the same layered decoration on each front panel as the dress. It is square in shape and three quarter length. The sleeves are long straight and set in. The jacket is lined in blue man made fabric. The label reads "Forsyth's Glasgow' (retailer?).
