cape; woman's (fur)
Description
Cream fur shoulder cape, possibly made from fox fur with a brocade lining. The cape has a very broad roll collar. It opens down the c/f and had four ties at the front neck. There is a large fur button on the left front panel and a button loop on the right. The cape is short fitting around the shoulder and it has a wavy hem. The lining is of cream brocade with a multi-coloured floral printed design which has metallic thread detail. It was altered at home in the mid 1930's.
