Description
Yellow nightdress. It has a round neckline decorated on the front panel with a cotton lace collar. There are four pleats down the front penal from the neck and six down the back panel. There are two bust darts on the front panel. The nightdress is slightly flared and comes to below mid calf length. The sleeves are short and loosely gathered into facing. It may have been made of parachute silk, which was highly sought after the war 39-45 for underwear or wedding dresses need more research to confirm. Parachute silk was highly sought after WW II for underwear and wedding dressed.
