Description
Black silk mourning bodice, with a round fitted neck and stand collar. The collar is trimmed with white lace and fastens down the c/f with seven jet buttons and two hooks and eyes. There is a pleated silk satin trim down each c/f panel. The bodice is very fitted with a waistband and a shaped pelmet below. The piped hem is trimmed with broad lace which has silk bows and lace buttons worked around the hem. The sleeves are long, fitted and set in. They have a pleated eyelet on the shoulder with a lace trim and silk satin puff pleating at the shoulder. The cuff has four lace buttons and a piped, shaped edging trimmed with white lace. The bodice is grey and white printed checked cloth.
