Description
Black silk chiffon and tulle teagown.The bodice has a square neckline with a large inset panel at the c/f. The bodice base fabric is cream silk backed in cotton, covered in chiffon and tulle with lace detail. The bodice is decorative with silver and blue glass beads with jet. It fastens down the left front side with press studs. The waistband is pleated with a beaded buckle and two jet tassels at the c/f. The sleeves are long full with metallic lace set with beads and jet above the cuff. The shirt is of the same construction as the bodice, its waistband is missing and the over layer of tulle is partly detached. One tier of tulle frill is completely detached. The skirt fastens on the left front side with seven press studs. It has six layers of silk frill at the hem.
