Description
2 rim, 2 base and 2 body sherds of a form 37, CG. Some sherds join and 4 had rivet grooves. The fabric is pale and the glaze dull, almost maroon. The largest sherd has (1a) dolphin (O2394); (1b) warrior with shield (D611); (2) erotic couple (Oswald 1936-7, pl XC) standing on a shield (Rogers U209); (3a) lion (approximately O1403A); (3b) hare (D950A?). Panels 2 and 3 are repeated elsewhere on the bowl. Other panels contain (4) figure with staff (D331); (5) (next to 4) triton (D20) on a pedestal (Rogers P80).
