Description
2 rim, 3 body and 1 complete base sherd (all joining) of form 37, SG. There is a narrow band of ovolo (Knorr 1919, Taf.35.80) above two zones of decoration. The upper zone has a winding scroll with large hares (Hermet 1934,pl.100,16) and small hares (Knorr 1919,35) below the scroll and a large leaf (Knorr 1919,52), striated spindles (Knorr 1919,72 and 73) and small birds above it. The lower zone has chevron festoons separated by tassels terminating in fan-shaped plants (Knorr 1919,75). There are two striated spindles in each festoon. See 2008-010-231.
