Description
2 base and 1 joining body sherds of form 37. Ovolo (S & S, fig 42). 2 panels alternating with saltire. (1) Minerva (O126A) over a bunch of grapes. (2) Saltire with crouching panther (D805) at the top and grape bunches at the intersections of the diagonals. There is a small winged centaur at the bottom. (3) Man with chlamys and boots (O566) over grapes. Under the decoration is a festoon of coarse beads (Rogers F85) containing a chevron (Rogers G392).
