Description
View of two straight stemmed ships under construction on slipways. Wooden scaffolding has been erected on either side. It has platforms on which the riveters and others can work. Two men are working at the bow. Access is by wooden ladders and a sloping gangway.

What appears to be three masts are lying on the ground beside the ship. There is an absence of machinery, including cranes. Peter and Donald MacKay bought Kelliebank Shipyard in 1902 from a Mr McIntyre and sold it c1914 to Mr H Buckland.
