Description
Small gas heated laundry stove with CARRON embossed twice on the top. The stove is in the general shape of a hatter's iron, with a hinged plate at the blunt end to receive the iron for heating, and a gas pipe at the other. There is a circular flue to vent the hot air. A reinforced tubular cable feeds the gas from the main.
On the base of the rack where the iron rests is a pressure trigger connected to the gas valve. An iron placed in the heating compartment would depress the trigger and open the valve more fully.
