Description
Small cast iron laundry stove made in South Africa in the 1990s. The rectangular box tapers upwards so that irons can rest on the basal ridge. The legs are short. The door on the front has the following inscription: "THE DURBAN FALKIRK IRON CO LTD/ STOMPI/ NO 52". There are two handles provided for removing the ashpan and the round lid to release heat.
