Printing block showing the Carron Shipping Company's masthead emblem of the cannonball, two notices of sailing dates and an illustration of a sailing ship. Illustration is a reproduction of a painting of the combined steam and sailing ship "Carron"; it was executed by Mr. Drake, a London marine surveyor, who frequently sailed on Carron ships. Large block used in "Carron Cupola", October1962, Vol.XIII, no.4.
