Printing block showing the boiler plate inscribed CARRON 1766 embedded into the wall of the pend (gatehouse) of the office block fronting Carron Rd. Used in The Story of the Carron Company 1759-1959 page 19. Also used in "Carron Cupola", October 1951, vol.II, No.4, page 12, and in "Carron Cupola", October 1962, Vol.XIII, no.4, page 22.
