Description
2 joining rim sherds, forming approximately a quarter of a bowl of form 37, CG. The ovolo may be Rogers B215, below which is a series of double-cogged festoons (Rogers F42) containing birds which alternate in direction with each festoon. Below each festoon are three rings. There is a small beaded border above each bird closing off the upper part of the festoon and a wider vertical beaded border between the festoons ending in a basal astragalus. c. AD125-150.
