Silver alloy sixpence with a bust of George I on the observe with the inscription: "GEORGIVS D.G M.F. -- RE.ET.HIB REX F.D". A coat-of-arms appears on the reverse with the words: "BRVN ET.L.DVX S.R.I.A. TH ET EL 17 23/ SSC". The coin has been pierced for suspension.
