2 cent coin in copper alloy with a lion, the symbol of Belgium, with a paw on the Belgian Constitution on the reverse and the royal monogram on the obverse. The obverse inscription reads: "LEOPOLD II ROI DES BELGES", and the reverse one: "L'UNION FIAT LA FORCE/ 2 CENTS".
