Description
Penny Cornish copper trade token. Issued by mining magnet John Williams it has on the obverse a pumping engine and winding machine. On the reverse symbols of the areas main industries, ingots of tin and cakes of copper for mining mining and a fish for the pilchard and herring industries. These were issued for general use in the area.
