 Description
One cent coin from Brunei. Image of a star within in a circle on the obverse with a circle on the reverse. (1304 is the year in the Islamic calendar which is 1887 in the Gregorian calendar). A year after this coin was issued the "Treaty of Protection" of 1888 made Brunei a British Protectorate.
