Description
1 almost complete bowl with interior green glaze and stamped decoration. Each stamp consists of a square grid, eleven of which are arranged around the interior of the rim, one in the inside centre of the base and five in between. the exterior is not glazed but has the occasional slip on it. The general shape of the bowl is greatly distorted, this occured during manufacture. The form and decoration can be seen on the material found during excavations at Linlithgow Palace.
