Description
Complete clay tobacco pipe bowl with a poorly impressed thistle stamp on the heel and milling below the rim. On the right side above the heel is the letter "F" in relief, and "I" on the left. 1640-1670.
A thistle stamp without the initials is reported from Linlithgow Palace (Laing 1967, 126). Falkirk Pleasance, furrow (103)
