pipe; tobacco
Description
Almost complete clay tobacco pipe bowl with a castle stamp(?) on the heel. Unfortunately the basal stamp has been truncated and so cannot be identified with certainty. The raised initials S (or possibly B) and C occur on the sides, right and left respectively. 1630-1660.
This is the smallest of the bowls and displays many moulding defects; Falkirk Pleasance, furrow (103).
