View of inscribed plates attached to inside of case door. Inscription "Laurence Aitchison, watch & clock maker, High Street, Falkirk, set up new Nov 7th 1843" and "Laurence Aitchison, settled in Falkirk about 1837. Returned to Glasgow 1852"
