green-glazed ware

Description
1 complete base and 22 body sherds forming a approximately 40% of a small jug. The lower part of the body is facetted, whereas the upper part and shoulder have wheel throwing marks and three decorative grooves. The fabric is pale grey with buff faces and traces of external green glaze. The pot was found in Letham Moss during peat extraction and is probably 17th century.
