Subject notes
Bonnyfield House was a large two-storey house situated west of Bonnybridge. It had a central pilastered doorway with moulded cornice, above which was a large stair window. Two windows were placed symmetrically to either side of this. It is now demolished. Bonnyfield House was bought by Andrew Stirling when he retired from his lime works business at Castlecary. He had a large family and his eldest son, John, was manager of Slamannan coal pits.
