Description
Rectangular hob grate. The side panels are decorated with fleur-de-lis pattern on a convex surface with reeding on the inner panels. The cross bar has horizontal reeding in the background with acorns inside five central quatrefoils; three spheroids between the crossbar and firebar. On the back is a central scalloped design with undulating lines to the left and right of the scallop design. Cast on the front of the fireback is "Carron 12" and at the bottom of the panel is "Carron".
