Plaster Holy Water font with crucifix. The back plate depicts a head-shrouded woman with hands clasped in prayer (Virgin Mary). There is a cross in background. The halo is incorporated into the suspension loop. Two vent holes on the back. Written in ink on the back “HOLY WATER FONT/ Unfinished/ CW.McNAY AMR02 1950/ When finished would be GLAZED/ AND COLOURED/ H. Elsmore”.
