Description
A small shallow circular wooden box having concentric grooves in the top of the lid and a paper inlay with a handwritten ink label "This BOX/ is manufactured/ from a piece of wood/ which belonged to the/ "CHARLOTTE DUNDAS"/ the first Practical Steamboat/ built at Grangemouth/-1801-/Wm Symington/ Engineer". Varnished on the outside with a slight mark on the lid.
