Subject notes
The stir caused by the tram suggests that it is one of the first on the route. Behind it is Camelon Bridge and Rosebank Distillery and to the left is a three-storey tenement with dormer windows and single-storey cottage with dormers and shutters.

Falkirk’s tramway was built in 1905 and trams ran both ways round a circular route from Falkirk through Bainsford, Stenhousemuir, Larbert and Camelon. There was a tram every 15 minutes, every 7.5 minutes at peak times.
