Description
View of four new pipelines turning through a right angle underneath two smaller diameter older pipelines. A man in a bowler and a man in a homburg are inspecting the pipe runs.

Running across the picture is an existing 8" (200mm) Admiralty fuel pipeline and a water pipeline. The new pipelines carried, from left to right, Admiralty fuel pipe, water, kerosene, motor spirit, fuel oil and crude oil, and they ran from the jetty at Grangemouth Docks to the tank farm.
