James Oliver was a draper from Bo’ness who started Griffiths & Oliver, drapers, 60 South St, Bo’ness in partnership with Arthur Griffiths in 1897. He and Arthur Griffiths were also manager and treasurer of Bo’ness Sick & Deposit yearly Society. His descendant Frank Oliver served in the RAF during WWII
