21 bars for attaching to the ribbon of a safe driving medal. Each bears a date. Those dated 1936-1938 are plain rectangular in shape; 1951-1954 rectangular with a raised border; 1956-1959 set in an oak leaf; 1961-1962 & 1964-1967 have a rectangle framed by foliage; 1969-1972 have a red enamelled star in the centre.
