Description
Saddle made of leather, iron and wood (pine (?). The wood has been treated for worm. Straw padding is used in the two compartments at the base of the saddle.
Used to support cart shafts. Part of a horse's harness. This saddle is fastened by a belly band or girth and cart shafts are fastened to the band. Worn by Clydesdales.
