Description
One pound banknote of the Union Bank of Scotland Ltd. On the obverse is the name of the bank with vignettes depicting an equestrian statue and a coat-of-arms.
The banknote accompanied a letter from the Burgh of Falkirk Welcome Home and Commemoration Fund in December 1946 to a local member of the Armed Services as a token of the Citizens' appreciation of the service rendered by him.
