Description
View of tram number 3 on the circular route. Features include the trolley by which power was gathered from an overhead line, the bogies on which the tram ran and the cowcatchers at either end. The handle by which the driver controlled the flow of power to the motors can be seen behind the windscreen. A carnival is advertised.

This Pullman was one of ten similar tramcars introduced in 1929-30, replacing the open-top double-deck original stock. They were completely enclosed with electric heating and seating for 30 in red moquette upholstered (rather than wooden) seats. They were very popular with passengers.
