Description
A copper alloy cylinder with the name "P.J.BRYANT/ BRISTOL" embossed in the side at a slope. The ends have been soldered in place; the upper having a threaded brass bolt and a leather washer for inserting the hot water.
The bottle was used to prevent frost damage in the greenhouses at the Carmelite Nunnery on Arnothill, Falkirk.
