Son of carter from St Ninians. worked as a chauffeur at Auchenbowie. He then worked at Plean House as chauffeur for the Bolton family. He then came to work for the Wilson family of South Bantaskine House although exactly when is uncertain. He was employed as their chauffeur and lived at the south Lodge on the South Bantaskine Estate until he retired in 1942.He is buried at Logie Churchyard.
He was given the items in this collection by the Wilson Family as a mark of their esteem.
