Description
View of the gable end of a three-storey rubble stone building with pitched roof. There are windows and a door in the gable end. Three men in bunnets stand at the door, the steps to which are very worn. The stonework has been crudely re-pointed.

The building was given its nickname because at one time when windows were broken the residents stuffed the holes with clouts or cloths rather than replace the glass. The wear on the steps suggests the building is old. The building was the location of R Burnett & Sons joinery business.
