Subject notes
The mansion was erected in 1642 for Lord Kerse, who was Lord Justice General. For 200 years it was the home of the Dundas family who played an influential role in the development of Grangemouth. They enlarged the house in 1830-31. The house was demolished in the early 20th century and its stone used in 1937 to build St Mary's Episcopal Church, Grangemouth.
