Sites and Monument Record: Castlecary Roman Fort Limekiln (SMR 82)
Description
This kiln measured 6 ft by 3 ft 9 in internally on the flagstone floor. The floor was raised 6 in on the E side. The dressed stone walls stood 2 ft high in four courses with a batter of 4.5 ins.
