Sites and Monument Record: Carriden Roman Fort East Annexe (SMR 148)

Description
Until 2010 it was thought that the annexe lay to the west of the fort at Carriden, but it now seems that the ditches previously believed to belong to the fort were in fact those of an annexe. This means that the annexe lies on the east side of the fort and has three small ditches. The area occupied by the annexe extends into the ploughed field.
A second annexe, containing a bathhouse, is attached to the south-east of the fort.
