Sites and Monument Record: Powfoulis House (SMR 199)
Description
The house, now used as a hotel, consists of a central block built c1830, with lateral wings added around 1900. It central block is built of grey frestone ashlar, droved. It is three storeys high and has an attic. The lowest storey on the W is masked by a double ramped carriage-way with a parapet. etc.
