Description
Romanesque, hall church with two eastern clasping towers. Stugged ashlar with polished ashlar dressings.
Central round-headed door under projecting pointed
gable, hood-mould with mask label stops. Tripartite
window above with deeply splayed reveals and raised
central light. Oculus in shallow gable. Gable-head
cross. Square towers of 3 stages with pyramidal stone
spires and finials. Lower stage with deeply splayed
door reveals to north and south, small windows to
east. Set backs to second and third stages. Clasping
buttresses and tall windows in second, louvred
openings recessed in rectangular panels to third.
Block corbel table.
5 bay hall with 4 tall windows divided by buttresses.
All windows latticed with glazed margins. Slate roof.
