Description
2 storey and attic corner building. Rock-faced sandstone, ground floor with coursed rubble above polished ashlar dressings. Ground floor now painted with contrasting dressings. Angle door with turret corbelled out above, 3 lights in 1st floor, attic window with gabled head rising into conical, fishscale slated roof with finial. 5 asymmetrical bays to N, 1 wide bay to E. N elevation with 1 door to Anchor Tavern and shop front to 2 W bays, a variety of window openings and stepped string course below gabled attic windows. Crowstepped gables with apex stacks flank angle. Slate roof.
